My Story:

I have always had a weight problem, starting as a child who was over fed by Italian parents. I was always told to FINISH everything on my plate; however, my parents tended to give me adult portions. I began to take control of my own weight as a young teen and trimmed down by eating less and less. When I did eat, it wasn't always the healthiest. But, what did we know back in the '60s, and as a teen, you go for what you like. Anyway, after marriage and having my daughter, I gained 80 pounds and struggled to get it all off. I got most of it off, but retained about 15-20 pounds. It seemed like every 10 years I would put on another 10 pounds or more, until at 55 years old, I was around 195 and had tried every diet known to man. I was the queen of diets, successful at losing some weight, then gaining it all back and then some. I know this sounds all,too familiar to most of you. Finally, now at 63, with an ankle and knee issue, along with arthritis, high inflammation, and cholesterol, I did my research and found Ideal Protien. I joined and have never been so thrilled with a program! I've lost 26 pounds so far and need to lose another 25. Even though there have been some challenges, this has been the easiest protocol to follow ever. I'm down to 157 which I haven't seen in years! I'm walking and moving better, and my knee and ankle are so much better. So worth the investment, and I love my weight counselor Mandy. She always motivates me every week since she is also on a weight loss journey. Now if I could only convince my brother and sister to give this program a try ... I know, they need to be ready in their own heads before they can be successful.
