My Story: 

Joined the Ideal Protein program because although I wasn't obese, I felt overweight for my size. I wanted to lose body fat and be healthy. Despite working out with a trainer several times a week doing weight training, walking a rigorous 2.5 miles several times a week with friends, and eating what I thought were healthy choices, my weight and body wouldn't budge. In just 5 weeks I have made an amazing transformation to my body and to my self esteem. I even bought a bikini!! Not bad for a 55 year old! The program was really tough the first week, and I have had some challenges when going to parties and there weren't many good choices, but I have stuck with the plan and am pleased with the results. Now into Phase 2 and looking forward to Phase 3. I miss my fruits!! I'm joining this site to find some recipe ideas. It has been fun learning to be creative with a fairly limited number of foods, but there really are lots of ideas out there.
